The AFRF operates two accommodation spaces in the area to facilitate short and long term stays for researchers and students.
Research Cabin at Gavin Lake Camp
Situated on beautiful Gavin Lake, our cabin features three bedrooms with 2 beds each, a full bathroom, laundry facilities, and fully equipped kitchen. The cabin is serviced with running water, electricity as well as satellite internet. The cabin is 80 km (one hour’s drive) from Williams Lake. Cabin users need to bring their own bedding, towel, and food. Tap water is potable.
Due to COVID-19, bookings are for the whole cabin for $120/night. Typically, researchers can have shared use of the cabin at the cost-recovery rate of only $25/person/night.
